Penn Avionics, Inc is one of the last avionics companies in the Philadelphia area to perform in-house system repair. The service department at Penn Avionics, Inc. performs repair work to the component level on both recent model and older avionics equipment.  Penn Avionics, Inc. services most panel mount avionics equipment and autopilot systems. By performing the service work in house, we eliminate the delays and expense associated with shipping equipment to outside agencies. 
  • Ramp test equipment for rapid diagnosis of autopilot, communication, navigation, pulse system problems.
  • We perform 24 month IFR certifications, compass calibration service, and aircraft re-weighing service
  • Full Bench test and repair equipment for Communication, Navigation, Pulse, and instrumentation.
  • Authorized factory service for most panel mount avionics.
  • Full Century, ARC/Cessna, Bendix/King, STEC autopilot bench repair capability
  • We are factory trained to service the Garmin G1000
  • TDR equipment for determining airframe wire fault locations
  • Environmental chamber capable of -20 to +80 deg c, and vibration tables to aid in identifying hard to reproduce avionics problems.
  • Computer controlled pressure calibration equipment for altitude encoder repair or full 24 month IFR certifications. 
  • Computer network which generates work orders, 8130 forms, logbook stickers. Our complete database maintains a historical record of the work performed to your aircraft or appliance.

The customer is advised of all costs before the repair work is performed and the labor price is predetermined for each repair.  We will ship UPS anywhere in the USA
