Whether you're an experienced IFR pilot or are training for the instrument rating, this course is for you! Being a proficient IFR pilot not only involves piloting skills, but it is also important to keep up to date on the knowledge areas. Most pilots who attend IFR Refresher training are surprised at how much they've forgotten since their flight test. You'll learn about aircraft systems (including common backup and standby systems) and equipment failures. You'll learn about ILS Precision Runway Monitoring and Approaches with Vertical Guidance (APV). You'll review preferred routing, arrivals and departures, position reporting, and much, much more! |
