I just wanted to let you know that after numerous delays and postponements due to poor weather conditions, I finally took my Part 135 ride and easily passed. The Examiner from the Columbus FSDO commented that my understanding of the GNS 480 was exceptional. Thanks again for your expert "one on one" training on the GNS480. I would recommend your training to anyone seeking to enhance their skills and increase their confidence with any of the Garmin products.

Thanks for a great class, you are a very patient and informative teacher, very technical, and with attention to detail that few in your field possess. I was very happy to see that you had a curriculum for the private and classroom lessons on Friday and Saturday. I learned so much in one day, I also felt like a NASCAR driver trying to learn from a great crew chief in one day. You have such a wealth of knowledge in aircraft and all avionics.
I am very excited to see the additional attention to GPS approaches and procedures, the class was far more than the workings of the Garmin units. The additional information would benefit any pilot. Your local students are very lucky to have all your knowledge and professionalism to absorb.
Again, I really enjoyed the classroom environment, and look forward to more education with you in the future.

Your GNS480 course is very well thought out and presented in an easy to learn sequence. I really enjoyed your flight training which was thorough, challenging and taught me more in two days than I learned in two months during my original instrument training.
When I flew up to N10 I was not comfortable with my IFR skills both because I hadn't flown much in the past year and I knew I was not safe and proficient with the 480. The trip home was entirely different in that I was confident and relaxed.
I want to thank you again for your thorough ground and flight training. Things I was lax on before such as checklists and preflighting could have eventually been a source of trouble.
You have raised my confidence and safety factor up several notches.
I look forward to future recurrent training with you.

I appreciate the time and attention you gave me in our workshop session today. The class was superb and you are a great teacher! I believe this session provided the basis for an enhanced level of utilization and safety with my 530/430 stack. I am going to practice what we reviewed.
After I get my aircraft back and flying would you consider scheduling some VFR time to employ what we reviewed today? Many of the labs were examples of situations I have encountered.

I'm so glad that I did attend the [Garmin 430/530] class. Just watching the video doesn't do it. I appreciated the hands on, and probably working with the flight plan was the most helpful. My husband uses that alot and in the beginning we could work together - what he forgot I remembered. Watching the video on the return home helped reinforce what you did in the class. - ML, New Jersey

I found the Garmin 430/530 Flight School course in my own airplane was exceptional. As you know, I have taken the basic and advanced [Garmin 430/530] ground courses that you have given in the past. Those were extremely interesting and helpful.
As you know, I had a good working knowledge of the Garmin, my instrument rating and quite a few hours experience flying with the equipment in my airplane, before taking the flying classes. I knew that I had the fundamentals down fairly well, but not the in-flight sophisticated and complex experience. The course gave me the hands on experience that I wanted and was everything that I expected and more.
Thanks again for the experience. You did a great job of instructing me on the finer aspects of the Garmin and my STEC autopilot.
