Bonanza Training

To safely operate heavier complex single engine airplanes like the Beech Bonanza requires a comprehensive level of flight proficiency.  As a Bonanza owner, you realize the importance of frequent recurrent training; however, you may find that among the many flight instructors available, most do not have experience flying Bonanzas and cannot provide the type of specialized instruction you seek.

My experience as an A36 owner, as well as the training I’ve received from John Eckalbar, author of Flying the Beech Bonanza and Flying High Performance Singles and Twins, enables me to provide quality, comprehensive instruction in your Bonanza aircraft.

Some of the items I cover include:

  • Weight and balance and CG considerations
  • Emergency procedures, including emergency gear extension
  • IFR by the "numbers"
  • Instrument approaches
  • Avionics and aircraft systems
  • Normal, short, and soft field takeoffs and landings
  • Balked landings
